Idea
Why does everything for babies have to be beige or pastel? While Artipoppe has already shown that bold design has a place in the baby carrier market, the young Austrian brand KASA KASA is now bringing the same fresh perspective to baby blankets – crafted from the finest cashmere and elevated with timeless design.
Background
The founder of KASA KASA became a mother in 2024. In her search for a high-quality blanket that would look just as good draped over the sofa as it would wrapped around her baby, she realized: it simply didn’t exist. So the designer and entrepreneur decided to create it herself. Together with her sister, she produced two blankets — one for her niece and one for her daughter. The babies rewarded the effort with blissful naps wrapped in warmth and security—and KASA KASA was born.
Production
The 100 × 100 cm blankets are crafted in Inner Mongolia — the very place where the cashmere comes from. Some pieces are made from existing stock, and in the future, the entire collection will follow this approach, using leftover materials from various productions, including those from the pandemic years. The founder relies on her family’s experience: for over 20 years, they’ve maintained close partnerships with fully certified producers committed to responsible, animal-friendly, and transparent cashmere manufacturing.

Returns
If something isn’t quite right, we understand.
You can return your order within 14 days after receiving it.
At the moment, return shipping costs are covered by the customer.
Once we receive the returned item in its original condition, we’ll refund your order.

What materials do you use?
We work with carefully selected, high-quality cashmere, sourced in Inner Mongolia (PRC). Soft on skin, made to last, and safe for little explorers. The main labels and packaging bags are 100% cotton.
Cashmere Care
Cashmere is a delicate little luxury. Soft, warm, and made to be loved for a long time. With the right care, your KASA KASA pieces will stay beautiful for years.

- Wash only when needed
- Hand wash with mild wool detergent or dry clean
- Do not wring — gently press out water
- Lay flat to air dry
- Store clean and dry
- Steam or iron on low heat with a cloth in between

Sustainability and Responsibility
Some pieces are made from existing stock, and in the future, the entire collection will follow this approach, using leftover materials from various productions, including those from the pandemic years. This will be a future step for the brand to step into a a global responsibility.
Additionally, we want to provide something good for women and children who are struggling with real life. 5% of every sold blanket, are donated to listed NGOs or women housing. We will provide transparent information about it on Social Media and our website.
